JurZnak is a growing firm that aims, through its legal work, to be a
conduit for foreign investors into Belarus. The office is led by
respected local partner Maxim Znak, and he is present on much of the
firm's highlight work.
One deal he didn't act on was headed by Anna Skorodulina, as she
advised Hilti BY, a joint venture, on the registration and restructuring
of the company, a deal worth €1.8 million.
Maxim Znak teamed up with Nadezhda Znak on the firm's standout
mandate, in which it advised AgriGO on an investment project that would
have seen the construction of a number of farms across the country, an
ongoing deal with an estimated value of €16 million.
Finally, another transaction the firm acted on demonstrates its
attempt to engage with more international clients. Again Maxim Znak was
involved as JurZnak advised Victory Holdings on a sale of shares worth
$400,000, a deal that completed in early 2011.
