Peroni continues to advise mining giant Rio Tinto Alcan, as it seeks to install an aluminium smelter plan in Paraguay. Rio Tinto is planning to invest nearly $3 billion in the smelter, which will also require a massive amount of electricity. Additionally, the firm helped Cargill and Puerto Zeballos with a joint venture to install a port facility.
