Zepos & Yannopoulos is a young, vibrant firm with high levels of ability in both M&A and capital markets work. It also sets itself up as an open shop for investment concerns for those wishing to become involved in Greece.
The firm has undertaken a lot of advisory work over the past 12 months in the capital markets, including for Morgan Stanley, which was seeking securities lending and derivative assistance with regards to Greek banks and other risks. A team also advised UBS on issues arising out of the sale of trust products to Greek clients. Both of these mandates closed in the later months of 2010. Partner Vassiliki Lazarakou was heavily involved on the Zepos & Yannopoulos's major work this year.
