Darko Spasic of Spasic & Partners is an individual who is heavily respected by his peers. "Spasic, he is one of the leading lawyers in the country but I do not see his office," one peer says. Through the years, Spasic developed a strong reputation for his work for the government and was very active during the height of privatisations, but as that kind of work fades, so does his market share. "Spasic is a good lawyer. We worked with him on a couple of deals. He's good in front of the government. He's done a good job. He is flexible in negotiations and has a deep understanding of Serbian law," one partner says. "I think he's a really smart lawyer. He's a good lawyer, I just think that Mr Spasic has a niche that he is in and he represents the government. I'm very fond of him, he's a great lawyer but he's not a law firm, he's an individual. I've never seen him with anyone else except his associate," another partner says.
