Road projects were a clear focus for the team last year. One substantial mandate saw Mark Kirkby lead the team advising on the conversion of shadow toll motorway concessions into real toll motorway concessions, which involved negotiations with three new concessions, including Eurocut Algarve, Scutvias Beira Interior and Norscut Interior Norte. The mandate was worth €3 billion.
Another highlight, valued at €800 million, saw Lino Torgal advise Ascendi, who act as the sponsor advising Pinhal Interior motorway sub-concession on the respects of financing, building and operation of the highway.
