Côte d'Ivoire, a former French colony, is a Civil Law country with a population of 18 million and has been independent since 1960. The country has an important industrial potential, as it is among the world's largest exporters of coffee, cocoa beans and palm oil. To exploit these assets, the country's regulations aim at offering a secure framework to simplify the process for local and foreign investors of incorporating companies and conducting business in Côte d'Ivoire.
