Overview:

  • Toyota Industries has acquired Vanderlande Industries from private equity firm NPM Capital, a subsidiary of SHV Holding, for €1.2 billion.
  • KPMG acted as the financial adviser to Toyota on the deal, while NPM was assisted by Bank of America Merrill Lynch.
  • Vanderlande produces logistic process automation at airports and in the parcel market. Its handling systems move 3.2 billion pieces of luggage a year and sort more than 20 million parcels per day.
