Overview:

  • United Arab Emirates lender Bank of Sharjah issued a $500 million bond under its recently launched $1 billion EMTN programme.  
  • The notes were listed on the Irish Stock Exchange, have a coupon of 4.23% and mature in 2022.
  • Bank of Sharjah sold its debut international bond in 2015
  • The National Bank of Abu Dhabi, Bank ABC, Emirates NBD Capital, and JP Morgan were joint lead managers on the bond issue.
