  • Korean Air has taken out $140 million to finance the purchase of a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner.
  • DVB Bank, Norddeutsche Landesbank Girozentrale and BNP Paribas acted as the lenders.
  • The financing consisted of a $110 million senior loan and a $30 million junior loan.
  • The delivery of the Dreamliner was completed on 23 February 2017 at Boeing's facility in North Charleston and was attended by the Chairman of Korean Air Lines and senior executives from Boeing.
